Seriously.
That damn Zidane costume is driving me crazy slowly.
Since my friend decided NOT to cosplay as garnet on animagic (<<; ) I have more time for Zidane..but it's still driving me crazy.
Because I couldn't find the right leather for the holster I decided to go with white and paint it.
this isn't a bad idea. but it sucks.
If I would've painted a THIN layer on it, you would see all the brush-strays <<° So I went with a thicker layer of my special-self-mixed paint.
After I was away the whole night and come back today I really broke when I saw the result -.-°
It IS nice BUT: the paint was a little too thick. now there are wrinkles in the paint (because the under-parts are STILL wet, even if the upper layer is dry and hard) and it's not the reddish brown I wanted..its more a light chocolte brown (DAMN IIIIIT)
I thought of covering it with a new-mixed paint-layer (because I have still a lot of paint left) BUT: you couldn't see the leather structure after that anymore and THIS will look cheap and like shit.

And you know what? Today I FOUND the perfect leather ONLINE

god is really hating me.
First I searched for a WHOLE year after the right shade of color for Zidanes pants and couldn'tfind ANY (after I ran my feet bloddy <<; )
and TODAY I find the perfect fabric with the perfect color online, TOO
GAAAAAAH
are you kidding me?
I don't have the time to re-sew the whole pants -.-°
So I'll go with my old ones. fuck that.
But at least I'll buy the damn leather for the hlster. so it's accurate.
(I would rather go without any costume than to go with that damn holster *kicks paint again* )
I'll try to bleach left-overs from the pants-fabric and look if I can get the right color, too. if not, then I'll go with the damn *too dark for beeing accurate* pants -.-°
Everything just turned out SO well with this costume..and suddenly everything goes wrong <<° I was so appy to have a NICE and easy sewing time, this time. but nooo. right before the con many things went wrong.

Ohh and for my weapons. know what?
the first dagger I made seems to be wrong. <<° *now I want really to kick somebody for that*
I found many pics on a FF9 database from ALL weapons of EVRY character.
There's a dagger.. the first dagger zidane uses.
and there was a nice picture of it.
So I made it. went trough hell for making a nice dagger.
and now? I played the game again.. and the dagger looks not like THAT. no.. it looks like the dagger, garnet uses in her hair-cutting scene

I'm really confused about that.
Because the other weapons are right.... so I don't knwo why the dagger-pic was wrong <<° thanks -.-°
I don't know if I'll make another dagger (or transform my dagger into the *hair-cutting-scene*dagger. I think I'll go with the last option -.-°

Really..this is driving me nuts.

If my 2nd secret weapon will fuck up at least, too. I'll burn the whole damn costume xDDD
